Meeting in Debar with the Secretary General of the Municipality

Another meeting considered as an important part of the meetings with the Municipalities that have been selected by the Project “Public monitoring through civic interaction” is the Municipality of Dibra, which reserved a welcoming reception and a willingness to cooperate and help with resources, also for our requests for data, based on the facts evidenced by the methodology we developed during December 2021.

Warm welcome, from Mrs. Urjeta Kurti, In the position of Secretary General of the Municipality, encouraged us to have more commitment in the elaboration and analysis of the situation defined by the project program.

The experts engaged in drafting the Report have started analyzing the implemented processes based on the General Local Development Plan, Medium Term Budget Program 2019-2021, 2020-2022, 2021-2023, 2022-2024, as well as other national and local documents, which include sectoral strategies and policies and local program developments.

ALTAX Center in the framework of the project “Public monitoring through civic interaction” supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands under Dutch development / foreign policy, has started from December 2021 analyzing the performance of municipalities by including in a draft report, which we will finalize and dialogue in open forums in 5 municipalities: Berat, Dibër, Elbasan, Gjirokastër and Vlora.
