ALTAX – 2023 Annual Report and the 2025-2029 Strategy

ALTAX – 2023 Annual Report and the 2025-2029 Strategy  has been prepared from the information on the activities of ALTAX and its partners, for the year 2023, updating the strategy for the period 2025 – 2029. This report comes as a summary based on the processing of sectoral and financial experts. and economic is an approach that tends to present the situation of the activity indicators, the operation and the fulfillment of the objectives and expected results, as well as the addressing of the concerns encountered during the year 2023 together with those carried over, presented as a summary and comments by the experts of ALTAX.

In cooperation with partners we aspire to, based on analysis and dialogue on economic, social and financial issues, harmonize policy-making approaches to influence future policy processes by updating our objectives in response to challenges before they appear.

It is not enough to have good findings and arguments.

Our mission is to improve and promote economic, fiscal and social policies and the quality of deliberative dialogue based on the facts and findings of inclusive civil expertise to empower the economic and social decision-making process for people and businesses.

ALTAX has decided as the first objective of the Strategy to analyze the policy of public finance and the program of central and local government in terms of transparency, accountability, fulfillment of the program as an approach to strengthening the citizen initiative for open government.

The second objective is related to the fulfillment in quantity and quality of the economic, financial and social program, strengthening the dialogue for accountability according to civil expertise in defense of the rights of taxpayers/voters.

The third objective is to broaden the basis of debate and participation for new policies and budgets that are designed to influence change in the old principles of closed governance, which has kept corruption alive at these levels.
