The tour of open days of good practices is closed with meeting in Berat
After two weeks of activities in 5 municipalities of the country, the last activity for this season of Good Practices Open Days took place this mid-November.
This activity was met with increased interest since the last meeting in June 2022, where the Multidimensional monitoring of the local government of Berat, 2021-2022 (Alb.) was presented, was with an approach that coincided with the critical attitude and demanding citizen opposition to budget distribution, but also with an increased attention to the fiscal burden.
The presentation of the good practice, BERATI, a model for cleaning the territory and planting trees(Alb.) had a critical follow-up from the citizens, who, although they welcomed the investments made, emphasized the fact that the Municipality has much more ahead of it than has been done so far, for to be really considered in the citizen perception as a case of success.
ALTAX experts presented the fact that they agree with the citizens’ opinion in terms of what remains to be done, and they also clarified this critical approach in the June 2022 report.
Meanwhile, it was emphasized that without having a synchronicity of compatibility between the critical attitude and rationality in promoting a different focus, those values of the citizen opposition cannot be built for a more correct monitoring and in compliance with the deliberative dialogue.
