The report on the 2023 budget project according to the citizens’ point of view is presented in Elbasan

The objective of this Report was to review the experiences of the current budget with an approach for the citizen according to the requests received from him in the questionnaire that we made for this purpose in June 2022.

We went to Elbasan to present it to provide useful inputs for the local government regarding the design and implementation of the short-term goals of the citizens, with the consolidated opinion that such approaches help to improve the quality and availability of the Municipality.

The report presented but also commented on directly in the hall where we presented it in Elbasan also complemented this desk-based review with two case studies to further explore the main motivations and challenges in producing such a document.

As this presentation shows, the Report “Budget 2023 from the perspective of the citizens of Elbasan” is not only a useful tool to communicate the most key features of the budget, to explain the budget process and to increase the general knowledge of citizens on budget issues.

This dialogue moment can also present an opportunity to establish a dialogue with people and assess their specific interests and needs in relation to budget information.
