ALTAX presents the research that answers the question of who is responsible for the fight against informality in Albania and how is it being fought?

Focusing on the need for effective governance to directly support the business climate and inclusive governance approach is the ultimate aim of the research material “Who has the duty to fight informality and how are they fighting it?” (alb.)

The vulnerability of the formal economy has increased significantly during this difficult time and taking measures aimed at inclusiveness can have a better effect than before in significantly reducing informality.

In preventing situations of cost burden and basic expenses, then the scenario for a direct strategy towards information serves sustainability against the possible crisis of public health, of education which may be disproportionate, depending on the internal characteristics, the response strategy and government interventions.

Although economic crises do not directly affect the informal economy, the ability to resist lasts only temporarily, because it is already seen that the weakness of the informal economy is the lack of assets, savings and funds for insurance for the future, which can keep them resistant in time difficult.

Built-in resilience gained from current experience is unlikely to be sufficient to adapt to future crisis, especially when policies are inconsistent and political wills are corrupted.

The reformation of the informal economy, starting from its exposure during the last quite difficult years, can be started by looking at the large reserves that should be taken from it in exchange for interesting and sufficiently stimulating offers to lure it towards an economy that has achieved growth objectives stable and guarantees security of continuity for the future.

These approaches and examples and statistics accompany the publication, which is presented this early February considering the fact that there is no time to continue with programs and models that have so far given poor results compared to ourselves, but also to our regional neighbors.

This material has been processed from online legal data and publications, from the processing of our experts, as well as from data and publications processed by ALTAX staff at various times. The data used and the legal references set are obtained in each case from official sources.

The publication was made possible with the support of ALTAX staff. Their meticulous attention to detail has been an inspiration and kept our work on track from the very beginning until the final draft of this paper was prepared.
