We continue with the fourth survey in two years for public consultation and its participation in the local budget

ALTAX within the MATRA project “”Public monitoring through citizen interaction” supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands under the Dutch development/foreign policy after drafting the new Questionnaire to adapt to the requirements of 2024 and improving it based in the experience of the three previous questionnaires, you also ask the public of the municipalities online for their opinion and comments based on the deliberative dialogue between us and other actors.

We want to know how you think about the budget project that the Municipality has prepared for you and for yourself?

Just a few minutes to fill out our Survey to be followed later with a comparison analysis with the opinion designed by the Municipality!

The purpose of the survey is to receive those reactions that are worth amplifying with the eye and mind of expertise about your problems and aspirations to use as an argument to convey the citizens’ opinion on the management of the municipality’s budget and as an organized citizen opposition.
While the local government continues and makes decisions based mainly on the calculations of its internal staff and political interests, today we turn to you to process the data that you express to us together with the new requirements for open government. Little by little, this way is affecting the behavior and implementation of policies from the local government, as well as the central one.

Our initiative on strengthening expertise during public consultations has created an even wider base of domestic and foreign organizations, asking with the strength of arguments the Assembly to implement participatory governance practices at the local level, to encourage public participation and development of new partnerships with civil society organizations.

By seeking responsiveness to social and economic needs, organized civic activity can have a real and tangible impact on local government performance and the quality and responsiveness of public services.
Express your opinion by completing the questionnaire and we will raise your voice in a representation for a more transparent and responsive decision-making.
