Strong start with discussions and comments at the Multidimensional Monitoring Open Meeting in Elbasan

The Municipality of Elbasan is the beginning of the Open Meetings tour for the first season of the Project “Social Monitoring through Civic Interaction”, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.

In the meeting with representatives of civil society, business organizations and leaders of the Municipality, the findings and proposals were presented, reaching the understanding through the reaction of the participants in the hall and those online that the work has managed to serve as a communication bridge for a representation of civic voice. according to the facts of the expertise.

However, the civil society representative asked for more attention and focus from the municipality and the Municipal Council, but also from the local civil society network itself, presenting to the organizer’s ideas for future meetings.

This first meeting of its kind was also the moment to reach further steps in public communications following the meetings in other municipalities during June 2022.
