Meeting with the Mayor of Gjirokastra for a cooperative approach to the project

In another meeting held this time in Gjirokastra with the Mayor, Mr. Flamur Golemi was the moment of discussion and commentary on how civil society is an active part of Gjirokastra life.

This meeting was also held in the attention of Mr. Petrit Brahimaj (Member of the Municipal Council) within the tour of meetings of the ALTAX group of experts with the Mayors for the implementation of the project “Social Monitoring through a civic interaction”. The group of experts who are implementing this project through the establishment of relationships and communication points with managers and employees of the Municipality, achieving the timely provision of effective data.

The ALTAX Center develops the project “Public Monitoring through Civic Interaction” supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands under Dutch development / foreign policy. Initial work started in December 2021 with methodologies for social audit, engagement and civic initiative and analysis of municipal performance and coordination with central government projects.

The experts engaged in drafting the Report have started analyzing the implemented processes based on the General Local Development Plan, Medium Term Budget Program 2019-2021, 2020-2022, 2021-2023, 2022-2024, as well as other national and local documents, which include sectoral strategies and policies and local program developments.
