Feasibility Index Reports on 2025 Election Promises officially Published

ALTAX, in cooperation with POLIFAKT, announces the official publication of analytical feasibility reports for the electoral promises of four political entities participating in the 2025 parliamentary elections:

• Socialist Party of Albania (PS)
• Democratic Party (PD)
• BASHKË Movement
• Albania Bëhet

These reports are part of a 20-day transparency campaign aimed at assessing the feasibility of political programs. The focus is on an in-depth analysis of the content of electoral pledges and a technical evaluation of their practical implementation potential.

What do the reports contain?

Each report includes:

• Feasibility Index Analysis – an indicator measuring the practicality of promises, taking into account budgetary cost and economic effects, implementation timeline, human and financial resources, as well as legislative and institutional challenges;
• Comparative assessments of priorities and proposed policies for the period 2025–2029;
• Neutral political and economic commentary, based on open data, national budgetary figures, and strategic frameworks;
• A visual scheme showing the distribution of promises by sector: economy, employment, energy, education, healthcare, agriculture, environment, governance, and social policy.

🔍 This project aims to support citizens, journalists, civil society, academic institutions, and first-time voters in making informed choices by understanding whether political promises have a realistic foundation or are merely rhetorical tools.

The report serves as a tool for public pressure and accountability, offering an objective standard by which voters can hold political parties accountable during and after their term in office.
