The\u00a0main\u00a0objective of this book is to guide and encourage\u00a0readers\u00a0to produce\u00a0more\u00a0good taxation research.<br \/>\nTo\u00a0do this we\u00a0provide\u00a0a map of the taxation\u00a0research\u00a0\ufb01eld and outline what we\u00a0mean by\u00a0\u2018single-disciplinary\u2019\u00a0approaches\u00a0to tax research\u00a0and \u2018interdisciplinary\u2019\u00a0approaches.<br \/>\nOur\u00a0secondary\u00a0objective is to open up the \ufb01eld of tax research\u00a0to readers.\u00a0All too\u00a0often\u00a0potential researchers\u00a0hesitate to tackle a tax research\u00a0topic because\u00a0they do not know where to start.
