In a second step,\u00a0what kind of topic might be interesting for research attempts, as taxation is a hugh area. The work\u00a0for this book has been inspired and influenced by the work of\u00a0Bruno S. Frey,\u00a0as he was among the first researchers who systematically analysed the role of tax\u00a0morale, stressing the relevance of deepening the research efforts to understand why people\u00a0pay taxes.<\/p>\n

Tax morale is an interesting topic, as it allows to check to which extent it makes\u00a0sense to extend economics with aspects from other social sciences as, e.g., social psychology\u00a0or sociology. The tax compliance literature is a good example for the fruitful interdisciplinary\u00a0dialogue between different social sciences.<\/p>\n
