The calculation, measurement and presentation of the\u00a0fiscal burden and the presentation of the Fiscal\u00a0Freedom Day Index are in the seventh edition of their\u00a0appearance for the Albanian economic and political\u00a0environment and beyond. The fiscal study presented\u00a0on the results of the methodology used by ALTAX\u00a0Center experts to calculate the Fiscal Freedom Day\u00a02019 has become a reference, aiming to create a\u00a0model in the Albanian economic and political\u00a0environment.
\nMeasuring the fiscal burden shows the effect of how\u00a0good \/ bad tax policy meets one of the primary goals,\u00a0increasing revenue while maintaining the equality of\u00a0taxpayers in the burden they bear. On the other side,\u00a0the policy should aim at the equally-proportioned\u00a0burden-sharing effect that the taxpayer has to bear in\u00a0terms of ability to pay.<\/p>\n
The structure of this paper consists of five parts. The\u00a0first part<\/em>\u00a0is the presentation of statistical and macro data on the Western Balkans in last 5 years.
