The purpose of tax planning is to ensure tax efficiency, with the elements of the financial plan working together in the most tax-efficient manner possible. Tax planning is an integral part of a financial plan. Tax planning is very close to tax avoidance.<\/p>\n<p>Tax avoidance is the legal usage of the tax regime in a single territory to one&#8217;s own advantage to reduce the amount of tax that is payable by means that are within the law.
