During the second part of the activity in Berat, in a meeting that had a direct dialogue with active representatives of Berat’s civil society and constructive opponents of the local government, ALTAX experts had a very valuable discussion to first show the spirit of the 2023 Budget Report in the point of view of the citizens of Berat ,<\/a><\/strong><\/em> (Albanian language), as well as secondly for a presentation of the part where ALTAX can lobby for the interests of the citizen opposition based on facts and argued analysis.<\/p>\n

Many questions and comments were asked by the attendees, but also by the online viewers, which were clarified in a live section, as well as notes were taken, which will be used to continue the deliberative dialogue for the future as well.<\/p>\n

The report prepared by the experts was accepted as a valuable approach for them and which should continue in the same spirit for the future, as society needs the voice of expertise.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the public’s trust was evident in the approach of ALTAX, welcoming from them also presentations of the problems presented to the municipality, but from them it was considered that there was a lack of ethical communication and arrogance in not listening to the citizen’s voice.<\/p>\n

In her analysis, the fact was emphasized that we at ALTAX will continue to do all the actions that we have mentioned as commitments in the Report, and we will come to say what we have done when we meet at an event with a different approach in the Spring. before the local elections with new data and findings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
